Is he practicing with the team? If so, does he appear to be a player we can count on to be effective next season?

I've seen him on the bench

Not being funny, but we don't have a choice but to count on him. At this point a body is a body. And that sucks we are at this point.

Saw a story in clarion that 8 of our 9 wins have come against teams with losing records. Tonight's opponent Maryland eastshore is 2 and 9. Not exactly a robust schedule.

Right now we need all the help we can get.

He's a developmental player. He scored about 4 ppg his senior year and didn't start until his senior season.

You could probably slap that tag on most of Ray's recruits so far.

For sure, but there's some upside here.

Please explain to me what this has to do with the thread.

There's more ways to be an effective player than scoring. I would think rebounding and block shots would help us more next season than him scoring. I would love a Branden Vincent type player.

I was just thinking the same thing.

Yes but he played for Findlay Prep so the fact he was able to crack the starting lineup speaks volumes about him. That school is loaded with D1 players. Black another of our signees doesn't have great stats either from what I could find but good size.
