had 9 catches for 220 yards!! Is that the new single game record for MSU? He had a hell of a game. Also the back to back sacks by Ryan Brown and AJ Jefferson was sweet. Ryan Brown absolutely abused the Rice OT with a beautiful swim move.

He really came on during the 2nd half of the season. He does a great job of finding soft spots in coverage. He was Tyler and Dak's favorite target... Don't forget his catch set us up to score in OT v Ole Miss as well. Glad he will be back next year, but would rather have Holloway returning punts.

I hope Holloway figures out how to CTGDF. He gets open deep and then drops them.

He should practice all off season sprinting fly routes and catching bombs.

Holloway needs to figure out how to finish his routes. He quits on them constantly. Dak needs to light his ass up. And I don't want him returning punts. He seems scared..or tentative if not scared.

Lewis definitely is a playmaker. He's good at finding windows and getting open...but more importantly, he seems to work back to the football. He never gives up on a play and usually when the play breaks down Dak is throwing his way because he works back.

Lewis would be a monster in the Patriots system if he can catch Tom Brady fastballs. He can get open on the drag route anytime he wants. I hope NE drafts him.

We still have one more year of Jameon. Just think about that. Another year of Jameon completely dominating LBs and Safeties in the slot. I like how the commentators were completely amazed that they weren't putting #15 on Jameon during the game since he was just tearing up the Defense.

yes. it was a Liberty Bowl and State single game record.

I do agree we need someone else returning punts. Holloway could improve but Tubby doesn't need to be back there any more IMO. He's too valuable as a WR and he's returning kick offs. Let him improve there. he returned punts all year and we were one of the worst punt return teams in America.

Wonder if graham would be a good punt returner with his speed

Holloway is a guy who you just to give him the ball and let him run. That's why he needs to be returning KOs and running jet sweeps and such. He truly has NO CLUE what he is doing as a receiver.

Tubby would have had 300+ yards if it weren't for the Liberty Bowl turf monster. The turf monster tackled him more than the hooters.

I believe Tubby also broke 1000 yds receiving on the year wth the bowl game. He had 791 coming into the bowl game.

I'd look at Calhoun back there too

couldn't risk my best DB. That's why I never liked seeing Banks returning punts. I think Giles and Redmond both should get a look. I think Holloway could be very dangerous in the return game too. Everytime he is put in to return everyone on the opponents sideline is holding their breath. He is just so quick and slippery. I would forget him as a receiver and make him a return specialist and focus all his time on that.

I wouldn't. He's a freshman. How many times has he gotten separation and just barely missed catching it this year? About 10 times. He gets separation anytime he wants. Jameon Lewis used to have problems with drops too. Even this year Lewis has had problems with drops. Give Holloway time. I think he can be a very dangerous receiver and he's always dangerous on just a straight fly route. Dude is super fast.

all true but there are still a couple of issues... 1) He CANNOT BLOCK at all 2) He doesn't just drop passes from time to time, he drops more than he catches.... I think he could be really special if all his time was dedicated to being a return specialist

I bet Tobias Singleton felt like a complete a dumbass watching Jameon in the Liberty Bowl. Definitely a lesson to be learned there if you are an in-state slot WR prospect.

Blocking isn't his gift speed is. He can still return kicks. Do you expect him to just return punts all practice? He's a freshman = drops. I like his separation too much to stick him on special teams only. Try lining him up next to Lewis and they break separate ways one of them will be wide ass open every time.
