Twas the night before Christmas and all through the Square,
Not a creature was stirring, not even one Bear.
The Lyric was empty, only for now it seems,
Because when Flipmas arrives it busts at the seams.

No, Oxford is full of good Christians I'm told,
So they ALL are at church despite the cold.
Meandering onward to campus was I,
Where a light in a window was a sudden surprise.

While the Greeks and the Grove were quietly there,
The football office commotion caused a great scare.
From inside the building there was yelling and cussing,
On this fine Christmas Eve, who could be fussing?

I rushed to the door and what did I see
Chris Kiffin on Twitter, typing angrily.
"We'll never lose to them, justsayin",
Who is this clown, he has to be playin.

Down the hallway I quickly stride,
Until the voice of St. Freezus makes me quietly hide.
"No that day won't work, it hasn't been planned
The hat-fake must come later, and it has to be grand."

The coach began to take nervous steps,
As a call came in from none other than Epps.
"You can't decommit, how will we spin it?!,
We flipped our own once, and that turned out like shit"

St. Freezus knew his style wouldn't last,
but the fall from grace happened so fast.
The damage was done, now the Bears are in fright.
Merry Flipmas to all, and to all a good night.

Great opening!

I hope you're saying what I think you're saying. And I hope you're right
