While we all realize that there is a 50/50 chance of Rosebowl being correct.

This morning he did say to expect a new bulldog under the Christmas tree.

Who could it be?

Don't say Epps because I don't think we see a conclusion to this episode till after visits, and apparently Stallings wants to take visits as well.

Harris or Corey Thomas maybe?

My guess is Calhoun. Harris doesn't have a firm offer from MSU.

Well, here is his video. Evaluating lineman isn't my strong point, but he reminds me a little of Clayborn. Seems to have a strong compact body type and has quick feet.

Wish we could get Coach57 to break this guy down

From the looks of the video I expect him to stay on defense.

I agree. he plays high but they'll beat that out of him quickly because hell get tired of being pushed around when he plays people his same size and strength. once he starts playing lower, he could be a beast. he's quick. has good feet at DT and knows how to disengage. that's a lot to work with for a DT.

It's Calhoun. McKinney needs to come to campus and visit, talk with the coaches first.

I know that is a highlight tape but that kid is good! He has a vey quick first step for a lineman. He should be successful as an OL or DL. I could see us putting him at tackle with his footwork and strength. It's tough to find tackles and he might fit that role. He looks very versatile.

Kid looks REALLY explosive! As some have said to be THAT athletic at 310lbs is pretty dang impressive. I'm not sure about the league they are in but the kid looks to be a better 2 tech DL than an OL. But then again his "get off" is so good I don't know. What I teach my undersized OL to do is use their speed off from the three point stance or (as I said earlier) "get off" to abuse and create contact. You can beat a guy who is stronger than you & bigger all you have to do is two things 1.) have a good "get off" & 2.) low pad level. He has the first but as someone has already said he has an issue with being too high. But it's nothing hours in the sled & shoot won't fix. When I coached pee wee many moons ago we actually would use a bed sheet to simulate a shoot & sled. Teaching them early to keep that pad level low. I'd love to see this kid live though. That's why I hate short highlight videos. I wanna see what happens when he faces REAL beef on both sides of the ball. But that hard first step is a MONSTER to counter if you are a OG. Oh my goodness, reminds me of mine. Lol!
