Haha. Sadly I'm not in Starkville right now so I was unable to support my Dawgs in person tonight. I do, however, enjoy MSU sports in all shapes and sizes. I think the only team I haven't watched in person is the golf teams which is understandable. Every other sanctioned sport I have attended a match/game for. I'm an MSU fan of all sports. So I guess you could call me the obscure sports fan.

Golf would be fun to watch if it's a big tournament like the NCAA. You'd see some damn good golf. A lot of pros come out of the SEC 5-6 years down the road.

We already have a women's player (Ally McDonald) who is practicing with the amateur US team for a chance to play in the US vs. World Women's Amateur Championship.

They are pretty good but they'll come back down to earth a bit when conference play. No doubt headed right way and rapidly. NCAA tourney the year. Top 20 next year and Top 10 in two years is realstic

They play the men's SEC here every year on Sea Island. It is good golf to watch, but there is hardly anyone there.

The girls are just filthy around the greens. They don't have great power but get them within 20 yards and it's a par every time. Takes a lot of discipline and practice to have such great short games. I get bored too easy playing golf like that. I'd rather just go for a birdie every time and let the chips fall. Intentionally shooting for par is some boring ass golf to play.

I was just wondering bc I was at most all sporting events while a student. Miss it too...

It's so much fun going to the different sports. My personal obscure favorite is volleyball for obvious reasons.
