At this point, I just assume all of our baseball commits are studs.

Call bully99, Cohen can't sign good players.***

Seriously, he looks like a long, lanky lefty who is very projectable. A lot of other big-time schools were interested in him too.

I hear ya superman. He has what 3 more years of high school putching. Would be more exited if he were older. Swindoll said his coach played for Butch Thompson and he is good friends with Adam Frazier,so there are ties there. But good for Cohen. Wish we had signed Cease and Touki.

Ho. ly. crap.

Amazing that you're holding on to that agenda for this long. Impressive, really.

lol

The bigger lesson to learn from this is -- get EVERYBODY you offer -- or bully99 is going to be pissed off.

He wants 20 first rounders EVERY year to win the press conference. Who gives a shit about kids actually showing up and trying to win our first national championship?

Some people will just go out of their way to bitch about something. At this point, I really don't think you can be helped.

This guy was a freshman on the same team that Clint Frazier (first round pick) played for in Georgia. If he's 6'4" and throwing in the low 80's already, he is likely going to fill out and throw in the low 90's by the time he is a senior as long as he stays healthy. And the fact that he's left handed makes him that much more valuable as far as draft stock goes. Based on my research, I think he is a guy that could be a SEC weekend starter.

The 2016 class is looking good with Miller, Riley Self, and Dustin Skelton.

Well, since Cease and Touki are both projected as first round picks, they're probably gone.

Doesn't PG say he's been clocked in the 90s already? Or am I misreading that on my phone...

I'm seeing 83.

Still, there aren't very many 9th graders throwing 83 out there. He'll probably get to the 90's in a couple of years or so- like Dakota Hudson.

Riley Self is the same age, and he's already topping out at 87. It's a long way out, but I really hope we can get these guys on campus.

The 2015 and 2016 classes will be a good indicator for the direction of the program. I see getting the top few Ms players then Ala, Ga, and California players. The sky is the limit. I would think 4 to 6 more for 2014, mainly JC players then a big freshmen class for 2015.

6 more players this year would be a lot to me. I could see 4. I do think 2015 is going to be a big class. We have the middle built up- Alexander, Stovall, and Mangum. And we are off to a great start with the pitching- Riley, James, and Hughes. We just need to fill in the corners and continue to add pitching. The true power hitters are going to start to emerge this year for the 2015 class now that they are about to be juniors.

Also, in addition to the states that you mentioned we need to also keep tabs in Texas, Florida, Louisiana, and Memphis.
