lol- Damp/Jones/Wilson were not 3-stars. Hell, neither was Bullard- he was just his own worst enemy. Jones/Damp/Washington were NBA guys off that team. It was loaded. Wilson may be the best 5'11 2 guard in SEC history

Wilson was not an NBA guy because of his size- much like Hubbard. But like Hubb- Wilson was Alabama's HS all-time leading scorer. Not sure he still holds that record. He was one of the SEC's best G's when he played. He was All-SEC all 3 years he played- and unlike Hubb- he played defense

Also, Ballard was an NBA physical talent. He had a higher 3 pt percentage than Wilson. Just could not always keep his head right.

You have to have some depth. Playing 6 guys for an entire season…..we’ll get ready for injuries, fatigue, and some losses. 40 minutes in the SEC with teams that have a legit 8 in their rotation. You better have studs not 3 stars vs Bama, FL, AR, etc. 6 players…..not a snowball’s chance!

I agree with this. All you need is an 8 player rotation but 6 is crazy, players need rest and you have to factor in foul trouble.

Jans was playing 9-10 guys.

You need 7 with an 8th getting limited minutes if hes a capable player.

And 5-6 should be getting a majority of the minutes. Construct the roster with that in mind.

No disrespect to Jans... he knows basketball, I just think he is more of a Mid Major coach that will beat the hell out of his conference and possibly make a run in the tournament. Jerry McNamara is a hell of an upcoming coach so I wouldnt mind that either. But Jans isn't going anywhere anytime soon. I personally dont think he is our guy but he will be around for now
