IMO it?s time to make the move to him at short. Woodson is struggling at the plate and some defensively. Drew can flat out play defense. And he will hit better than Woodson it seems. It?s worth a look for a couple games. Idk just a thought. Oh, and the guy we were worried about defensively at 2b (Gehrig f) is doing a very solid job at 2b

I like everything about this team except where we are in the pen. I’m hoping experience will help. Our team should only get better. And as we all know it’s ALL about peaking at the right time.

No. Ryder literally had the game tying home run last Friday and Wyers reportedly has issues playing SS.

Our main issues is we trip over our own feet too much.

I agree 100%, it's been quite a while since we've had a SS with the hitting potential of Ryder.

I personally think Wyers should be in the everyday lineup regardless of RHP or LHP. I would only play Frei vs RHP.

Meh- need more time to see. He has 14 hits this year- 9 of them are against Alcorn and Lipscomb. 1/7 vs UPig on the weekend

.400/.511/1.14. Gotta roll with him until he proves otherwise. Almost 23 years old too.

How do you play them both at the same time. ???I prefer the platoon at present.

For me, it comes down to Frei/Wyers/Parker. I like Frei and Wyers right now more than Parker. So Frei is my LF vs RHP. He was fine there last year. Then VV is my LF vs LHP. Chance in RF obviously.

I will say we aren't quite as buttoned up under BOC as I thought we would be. The games lost due to wild pitches/passed balls/hit batters/walks/errors and the like is quite irritating. We've also made a high number of base running blunders as well as allowing opponents to steal on us at will. If our bullpen gets hit they get hit, let's just don't compound the problem with things we can clean up on our own.

So basically- you are admitting- the team with more talent coached by the supposed better coach- is doing the same shit the previous team did with less talent? Hilarious

I think Milewski will help with those issues at catcher.

It's college age guys playing. Doesn't matter if the are getting paid or not, they are going to make mistakes. I don't care how they are coached.

Milewski has a better arm but I don't think he's any better than Raymond catching. Better than chone? No doubt

The difference is we do enough other things well to help make up for those mistakes more times than not. Mistakes under Lemonis meant we needed multiple runs but all we got was a hunter hines solo shot after the game had been decided

Yea, but for example, Arkansas played much cleaner baseball than we did this past weekend. That's why they won 2 of 3. It's also why on Friday night you can give up 11 hits as they did but only 4 runs. I don't expect us to be near perfection in the field and on the mound but just saying we have been sloppier than I expected us to be.
