That is who I would play.

correct...especially given the stuff that our pitchers posses. on the two wild pitches, first one was unlucky. catcher squared it up and did all he could do. the other however was a lazy attempt at a block and is a prime example of the downfall of the knee down catching style. he never got around the ball to square it up back toward the plate. and surely he was anticipating a dirty ball there in that situation. if he's traditional stance he most likely blocks the second easily and probably the first for that matter. but i can't blame the effort or the attempt on the first one.

It's hard to stop a ball spiked in the turf out in front of the plate. To let it happen twice is on the pitcher, catcher, and coach calling the pitches. I think some of this stuff is "growing pains" but it sucked to lose because we can't throw and catch the ball from 60' away.

both pitches were executed. you're getting swings and misses on unhittable pitches. that's what you want. especially way ahead in the count. pitcher has to have confidence that the catcher is going to block it up.

1-2 count and I just watched one hit the backstop and there's a guy sitting on 3rd. Zero percent chance I call it again with 2 strikes.

PC's call for the bouncing CB all the time. I dont think we make guys climb the ladder enough. Purdue was really good at that a couple of years ago

Yeah. High fastball wouldn't have hurt my feelings there.
