Miss. State playing really bad looking basketball in this first half....both ends.

These teams are not overly good that Miss. State has been playing these last two games. Still, Miss. State hasn't played well in either game...hit 3 pointers last game but other than that didn't look good. This team appears to have regressed. Freshmen Madison Francis and Nataliyah Gray.... bright spot in the first half.

Sorry but I've watched several games this year, even some we won and we just suck. We have some talent but we are way below our talent level with on floor performance consistently. Terrible. Say goodbye to NCAAT.

Florida is not a good team

We are just way too inconsistent!!! Sam is going to have to bring in better players to put alongside Madison Francis and Lampley (even though Lampley isnt playing great tonight). Sometimes I feel great about this team, other times we look like we forgot how to even pass the basketball. Its frustrating

Madison has 19 points right now in the 4th quarter, the next closest scorer to her has 6... you cant win like that. And where has Destiny Mcphaul been? We need that other consistent scorer

T Crisp shouldn't have been guarding McGill...don't agree with this decision.

These teams have film on Miss. State with these passes into the post and it's showing. Arkansas was able to consistently pick off these passes similar to Florida in.this game. Also, sloppy unforced turnover type passes again in this game. Transition defense bad. Team didn't come out ready to.play accept for Madison Francis. Nataliyah Gray and Chandler Prater looked fairly solid off the bench. Give a pass to Jaylah Lampley she's a freshman.
Doesn't appear to be an NCAA Tourney team right now.

Also, gotta go out and get players for this Fred Castro offense during this off-season, ect...or scrap it. Defense is really bad...by SEC standards.

Coach Purcell and his staff should know not to have Crisp guarding players like McGill, Blakes, ect. Gotta call this thing out. Also calling out that he needs to be looking to bring in good-consistent offensive scorers rather than continuing trying to get by. Also the point guard position needs better point guard type execution. Need another rim protector besides Francis.

In Coach Purcell's defense atleast he wants to win and continues actively trying to do his best towards the program.

The seniors not playing good basketball. Throwing balls away, not defending, not playing smart, getting out toughed, ect.. Not saying give up on them turning things around but possibly get some of these younger players more playing time. Nataliyah Gray looked solid off the bench in the few minutes that she did get in this game. Gonna be hard to justify not playng younger players like Gray and others more minutes if these seniors keep playing like this.

Should have been in a zone from the get go. We couldn’t stop the dribble drive

Inconsistency to the point where it appears predictable. Also, very little ability to defend dribble drive. 3 point defense is bad as well. Another thing...noticed one of the game commentators commented on how fast Florida was getting out in it's transition while Miss.State's players were JOGGING back in transition defense. This is one of the main reasons Miss. State got beat so bad by Oklahoma.

Agree on the need to get some help for Francis and Lampley. Need help for Nwaedozi as well, she's not a true center but a powerforward. Gray is a powerforward as well. Need a game ready 5 spot player to compliment. At the same time keep developing Jimenez, this was just her first season getting on the court since arriving.
