I like Raymond at catcher. Chone cannot consistently catch SEC pitching and that was made abundantly clear last night even though he can hit it.

He's day to day. He tweaked his back in practice on Monday. We're working him back. I don't know when he's gonna be available. We're being told it's nothing serious. He'll take some swings tomorrow. He's just been in treatment the last two days. I expect him to be back in a short period of time

Am I missing something about State baseball radio or am I too dumb turning knobs, but I could not find the game tonight on the radio in Jackson. Either it?s on 106.3 or 105.9 but it?s always changing and nothing is consistent. Why is that?

The talent on this team is insane. Guys like Bauer and Beliveau would be major contributors at other schools right away. Same for Maddux Miller.

We just threw the Cape Cod pitcher of the year against Alcorn because that's where he falls on the depth chart.

When there is basketball on the same day, baseball is going to be only on 100.9. It doesn?t matter if the times allow both to be aired, the stations are only going to carry one game per day, and basketball has priority. (This is just my observation, not ?fact?)
