About time! Appears as if the baseball team has switched to New Era hats! About dang time!

Now my question is? anyone have any clue where to get the official hat? I?ve searched high and low and can only find the Adidas hat! Anyone know where to get the New Era baseball hat?

Glad I'm not the only cap nerd. My best guess where to get the New Era's is in Starkville somewhere. Campus book mart, Barnes and Nobles, etc. The lodge. The official ones have &tate on the back.

Personal taste, I don't wear Flat Bill hats like this. This is awesome for a 13 year old. The picture below shows "state" on back. Looks like BOC is not a flat biller either.

I have so many MSU hats, I don't need another unless a tornado hits my house. There would be assorted MSU caps scattered throughout the county. People that know me, would just return them to me.

So the key to the New Era hats is to get the 5950 LoPro which is the traditional original 5950 (think MLB and so forth) but is is obviously low profile and has a slightly curved bill - only problem is New Era doesn’t seem to make the Low Profile in NCAA hats but as a hat nerd that has WAY too many 5950 Low Profiles, the hat that BOC is wearing in this picture is IN FACT a 5950 LoPro.

I’ve heard that BOC is a “hat guy” and it was him that switched them to New Era hats but I just have to figure out how to get my hands on one!

I'm guessing they haven't mass produced our hats yet? Not sure about the turnaround time.

You could call up Maroon and Co or the Barnes & Noble in Starkville and get some answers maybe.

The new era hats you can shrink. Just throw them in the washer with a load of clothes (not whites) and put on hot water. When done throw it in the dryer. Every hat I buy I have to do this a few times. Just make sure to try it on before doing another cycle. It will shrink too small. I have a Braves hat I did this to several times.

I think I will just concentrate on barn-dooring my old Cann era Adidas. But, if y'all see them, let me know. RIP flat bill. :o

What if I want a fitted hat that isn't structured on the front?
