This one is a good bit different than the others. Auburn and Georgia are ranked higher in this poll and I believe this is the only one that has olemiss in it. It will be interesting to see what these polls look like a month into the season.

There are people looking at Mississippi as the underdog team to watch this season. Their schedule is ridiculous also

They have some seniors on their team which should help. But as you say the schedule is very difficult. It could be a situation where they win enough to get in as a 2-3 seed and then end up in a SR or they may take on too many losses and the wheels fall off.

Yes it is.

Back where MSU belongs.

The insane thing is I think our team could be even better in 2027 depending on how the draft and portal goes.

Especially if Jack Bauer progresses a lot faster than anticipated. And based on what I have heard I don't think we can rule out him progressing faster than anticipated as a possibility.
