I don't know ... I had someone show it to me today but I haven't heard anything " official" about it out of the AD. I think they are great and like the old school bulldawg on the helmet.

I don't see any sign of Adidas on that pic, so the answer to if this is official is absolutely not. Those pics aren't Chillbilly worthy and not sharp images. I'm assuming that is a Bulldog fan drumming up his own version of what should be. I may be wrong, but I'd say this is not going to happen.

I don't like em for the record. And one dude said he liked the gray in them. Either I'm color blind or he is. All I see is Maroon and White on a dull boring ass uniform

I don't remember there being numbers on the helmet. Thought it was just the Bulldog head. And the Bulldog was a little different. The one on this one is from the walking bulldog logo. But, with that said, I love 'em! RT(G)DF!!!

If you check the comment section you'll see a t-shirt designer liked the idea and did the mock-ups. I did another post with the mock-ups and whoever is passing this off as legit is just simply stealing the idea, and the artwork with no basis of truth at all. Its kind of a unique idea, but really the main idea behind the article was to get MSU fans knowledgable about our history in that 63 game.

I think they look alright. Rather the number not be on the front of the helmet. Why do we insist on having Miss State or Bulldogs on the back. Lets just keep the names back there.

This is some of the most ignorantr crap I've seen associated with these novelty uniforms: They always eliminate the players' name on the back of the jersey. Here's a common sense question: How the hell am I supposed to know who is doing what if you eliminate the names?

Playing in the Liberty Bowl on national TV & no one will know who the **** you are if you make a great play.

First, these are almost certainly not legitimate.

Second, that is usually the point to putting a team name on everyone's jersey - it promotes the team concept over the individual. Sure, most players probably barely even notice it or care, but it's a little thing to say, 'It doesn't matter who makes the play; we made the play'.

And can you not just pull up a roster? I usually get the roster down pretty well at the beginning of the year with number changes, etc. for this very reason. They're not always going to show you the back of their jersey up close anyway.

As bad as that bulldog logo it, is is no better or worse than the generic tiger on LSU's current football helmets. Yet nobody care's about LSU's tiger logo.

Miss. State on the back is awful. Put it on the front and their names on the back or even better just put a small MSU on the front like FSU does. I love the helmet.

Are we EVER going to brand our program by having a reconizable uniform? Every time we are in the spotlight we have a new look. I like the throwback unis but I would like to be branded more than trying to see how many ways Maroon can be designed and tweaked. I absolutly love Oregon's uniform combo. IMO, maroon is not a color that offers a lot of options. The tweak that I most like with our unis is the silver britches but we've only worn silver pants three times in the last five years. Oh, well. Let's just win the game.
