Dent appears to be more of the same. Young, unproven player who had a good ranking out of high school. So we have to develop him and then try to keep him. Not a winning formula.

I dont know much about Chester but he seems to be a good add on the interior.

From LSU:

Chester has played just about every position along offensive line in his time with LSU. He earned Freshman All-SEC honors last year while starting all 13 games for the Tigers and this year he played center and left tackle as LSU’s first man off the bench.

It appears that he played 4 and took a redshirt. The next year he was the utility guy. He played every where on the OL. This year as a RS So, he played in 7. I assume it's due to them firing the coach and the new guy went with other players

Yes, OU bought into the Autry Dent is Marcus Dupree distant cousin a bit too much. The Hunter Kid from Neshoba that played at Auburn is from the same family as well.

Yep and a few of them have NFL guys too. Just look at NFL rosters and some of the small schools they come from. Yeah the blue bloods are heavy but look at Superbowl starters and no one school stands out. Pretty amazing. MSU had a bunch of those under rated guys. They are out there.

We need a few people that is all they do is go watch and search for these dudes.

Indiana just showed the world that can work. MSU must do this to compete and win. Jackie did big things with JUCO back in the day and made us a winner. That was the difference. JUCO ain't what it was back in 90s but the smaller schools got some guys.

Yeah, his biggest issue was his footwork. Hopefully that's improved. Plus, he needs to develop a mean streak.
