LSU installs Turf on their baseball field

Pretty much did what State did with fake turf in foul territory. Looks as crappy on their field as ours. Looks like their fans are about as happy as ours about phony grass.

I'm fine with it in foul territory- it's obviously going to look bad in the winter when it's sitting next to the dead, natural grass.

The only problem I have with ours is that it was installed over the dirt around home plate, which makes blocking balls in the dirt and sliding into home seem very unnatural to me. I'm sure it'll turn out okay by the time the season comes around.
