And all year I heard that if we had a mobile QB he would be able to overcome our offensive line...

He is a paid player. If he starts he plays. WTF were you at when Shapen was getting injured? Calling for the back up.

Yep. And here is the sad part to that. They actually did a better job in protection. He had a lot of time to throw.

True but they weren't good IMO. Better but not acceptable.

WF primarily rushed 4. When they brought 5 or 6 it was almost immediate pressure or a sack

No QB, even Fernanado Mendoza, could overcome our inept OL. Regret to say our defense isn't much better. We better face the facts, our HC isn't getting it done and he needs to go.

Our players need to go.

We need to buy better ones.

First and foremost.

A scrimmage bowl game is nothing in comparison to a season game. Also, it's the coaches responsibility to put players in wining situations. If Lebby were a better coach players wouldn't be in these circumstances that includes injuries.

Frigging common sense. Go back to playing madden. You're either really young or an old guy. Either way you're not very smart.

Yep. Literally every time we got inside the 30 yard line they brought pressure and got home. They could have done it every single play throughout the game if they felt necessary to do it.

Nah. I am smartnenough to know coaches everywhere would disagree with you.

KT is a paid play. Dak is paid and a cramp isnt keeping him out of the game.

And if I remember correctly, Fluff got injured at the end of the game in a completely meaningless situation.

Myself, I raise hell during the game, but I sleep like a baby. I'm sick of the Lebby reign... I know how it ends, and suffering just to suffer seems dumb. He can't coach. Move on

I like your sense of humor, Tater. I was told long ago, sometimes we have to laugh to keep from crying. Very true.

Yep. And it's as simple as you stated, he can't coach.
I held out hope, but even when he replaced all those coaches and kept the worst coach on the staff (Loadholt), it just screamed incompetence.

Yea Idk why you're arguing against people, blacksailsdawg

We want Jeff Lebby to do better. Nobody is debating that.

But time and time again he makes boneheaded decisions that are frustrating.

Right now - our best case scenario is our star in the making QB has a high ankle sprain. The same thing that our supposed star running back got when he was needlessly playing in a game that was a blowout late. Again. It's a repeated - no learn from my mistakes - offense. He's not improving like we all want. That means both QB/HB will need all of spring to fully rest and heal rather than getting more valuable reps because our coach put them in bad positions to get hurt late in games. Hell the Fluff play was doubly bad by just how hung out to dry he was.

Worst case scenario - he did tear his leg and were punting on 2026 already and looking for a coach after having 1 win going into November.

None of us want worse case scenario. But really - how can you be confident based on what you see that it will be anything but?
