Sure y'all have noticed, every clip we put out has KT in it. Every promotion, uniform reveal, practice clip, etc...
He is the face of the program and will be promoted at a Dak 2014-2015 level. That's not a complaint, just an observation.

Tomorrow is a huge day against a good WF defense. We cannot flop offensively, or at least it can't be his fault if we do.

How we should be thinking from top down is this is an investment in something much more valuable. The economic windfall from a football team advancing to the playoffs is gigantic not only for the university but for the city itself. Even building a consistent winning team pays large dividends.

Easier to find that when you have a legit QB like KT. May be seeing the dividends pay off some in the form of high school recruiting with guys like Womack, Hill, Crosby, Cotton, etc.

Well the thing is even with the portal some of the lower division guys are the new diamonds in the rough. See a D2 QB winning at Ole Miss. If we took a D2 QB we would have fans roasting our coaching staff and wanting people fired.

I agree. Baseball isn't taking anything away from football. Our baseball success most likely helps football.

Here's some context many of our fans don't get about the portal and MSU football.

There are 130+ teams in D1 football right now. There are only 16 SEC teams currently. That means that if you are a player looking to move up and play in the SEC there are only 16 openings max at whatever position you play on the offensive line. That's pretty attractive and means MSU is pretty attractive to portal recruits.

So we'll have a great QB without a supporting cast and who can't get to the playoffs as a result. Jerry will surely draft him.
