I will add that I hope we don't waste our talent in the SEC tournament this year like we did last year. It was cool to win it but it cost us dearly going into regionals

^^^^ THIS.. Last year Stratton and Kendall were our go to guys with a great closer in Caleb Reed. This year we mostly put the weight on Lingren and have a better closer IMO in Johnathon Holder aka Johnny Baseball. Lets be honest Kendall is not looking near as good right than he did this time last year. We also need really good consistency out of Renfroe, Frazier, and also CT in order to make a good run

If everybody thinks back....we had to throw Ross and Reed a ton in the SEC tourney I believe, and that was Woodruff's first SEC start of the year in that Championship game wasn't it?

If we would just get Girodo and Bracewell back to pitching regularly, we would probably have better overall depth this year in the tourney than we did last year.

I don't think we have the depth to come through the losers bracket. If we manage a top 4 seed it would certainly seem to help, as we'd have to win only four games. I don't know who that fourth starter is right now, but if we don't have four guys it makes it tougher to win a regional also.

Fitts may be this years woodruff in postseason play. Woodruff pitched a lot more last year though so this could be a stretch

Dude, he's thrown like 3 complete game victories. So he lost to Auburn, still only gave up 3 runs. He's got a lower ERA than last year and already has more W's at this point than he did all year last year. Just a completely wrong statement.

The only problem with this is that R. Mitchell has been our pen all year. Other than Holder the rest of the pen has had hardly any work. Not saying you are wrong because it is what I think it looks like as well. At least we did get a couple of guys in last night in the last 2 innings.

Just because we don't have 4-5 quality SEC starters, don't assume everyone else does. If we're going to win the SEC Tournament, we're going to have to stay in the winner's bracket as long as possible.

Last year's press conference made it fairly clear that conference tournament wins/losses had zero bearing on the decision of who will host and who won't.
