Could not sleep so somehow came across Syracuse Final 4 game and watched it. Bullard was without a doubt on the take and was shaving points. You could tell after 5 minutes. Why did Williams not put Wilson at PG?

Forgot how incredible Dontae Jones was that postseason.

I've always thought this too.

"without a doubt" is taking it too far in my opinion. I haven't seen evidence that is indisputable that something like that happened. Let's see it.

If there was a player who would've been in on the take it would've been Bullard. He has had all sorts of criminal issues with drugs amongst other things.

I was always told that his older brother Lloyd Bullard took the rap for a shooting that Marcus was responsible for. Who knows if it is true, but growing up that was considered a fact around the coast.

He had a concussion after the screen. Doesn't remember the rest of the game.

Marcus's older brother was one of the biggest dealers on the coast. Carlos, his other brother, ran for him. Marcus was "running an errand" for his brother when he got popped the first time. Not that any of it matters, but Marcus was definitely "little brother" and not the kingpin of the group.

Is he still incarcerated or did he pass away

Dude had practically no turnovers in four games before that game... of course my memory isn't what it once was.

I worked a lot for the athletic dept back in the day and there was a strong rumor of what was said in the top post!

Yep Bullard's play was one reason we made final 4 because he was a TO machine during the season. I took it that he just returned to season form and couldn't play flawless another game and pressure of Final 4 also.

John Wallace could play

Wallace set the screen that gave Bullard the concussion. He could barely dribble after that.

I remember being crushed with the effort in that loss because of the great year and crushing Ky in the SEC tourney, but it pales in comparison with the questions from the performance against om in 14 that would have put the DOGS in the argument for CFP.......I still don’t know what happened against against Bama and more so against om.......still hurts.

Yes, he laid an egg that day. Later in the cafeteria that school year, he was behind me in line. I gave him a disapproving nod and took extra time getting my meal. Other kids let athletes cut in line.

I talked to Daryl earlier this year ago at a baseball tourney. He was umping our game, we talked most of the game. I brought it up to him and he wasn't fond of me saying it. He shook his head and said "Naw man, he would never do that to his brothers" Could tell he was irritated and doesn't believe it what's so ever.

I know Bullard. My heart says he wouldnt do it. My head says hell yeah he would do it if it would bail him out of a jam.

We'll never know. But we will always be frustrated we didnt beat Syracuse because we were better than them

It's not true. I've hung with, and know, some of that team. I knew Marcus since high school. Didn't happen. He had a concussion. Go watch the game. After the screen by Wallace he was in La-la land.

When did the screen occur? He was off from the jump
