Saints are set up great for the future. This past class has promising starters at qb, lt, safety, and cb. Also, no contributors at rb and lb. Their DT 3rd round pick was hurt before the season. They will have another 8-12 pick this season with lots of money available soon.

Carr retiring and potentially having a qb on a rookie contract has put this rebuild in hyperdrive.

I just don't know how big the market will be for a oft injured 27 year old who hasn't looked the same since 2023. Both the Raiders and the Steelers will need to make moves but I do not know that Tua will be the answer in either spot. I could honestly see Tua taking the Jameis route and going somewhere to be a backup for a year to rehab his image around the league, maybe somewhere that has an aging QB(Rams, Seattle, Arizona, etc.), and trying to fight for a job the next year in one of those places.

Saints board I read mentioned Brian Robinson jr. If he can be had for a team friendly deal, I'd be on it. He's just 26, and he's had a year of low workload backing up CMC

OL/DL or big time WR to combo with Olave would be my preference. I'd need to see more of him, but the LB from TT is intriguing too. I suspect he'll be late 1st or later though.

The issue is that Dak doesn't want to go anywhere else. He's extremely happy in Dallas. They're paying him VERY WELL. He's set himself up where his no one in his immediate family for 2 generations will have to work. He also has gotten a ton more respect in the Dallas media and the fanbase this year with his performance.
