They sure do have lots of distractions with players being arrested. Now I realize many teams have problems but, in the Sec, it seems Georgia leads the pack. Latest is shop lifting, I guess Kirby's thing is "winning is what only matter". I am seeing a different Kirby than I use to see or think who he is. He is a great Coach but something isn't right with his in-house team it seems. Why steal while you are getting paid?

Kirby is not a high character individual. He never has been.

When are y’all gonna figure out that none of this matters anymore. They just don’t care as long as the dollars are flowing into the local economy and universities. It’s all about the mouse money. Prime example is look up the road with the proposed entertainment district directly around Vaught Hemingway and what we are doing in the cotton district. It’s sad and pathetic but it’s the current state of affairs.

What?s sad is they?re getting paid? Why do you need to steal something? There?s no excuse for that crap in today?s college football system.

More proof they don’t care, as long as they win.

Win at all costs.

Win at all costs.

I think I’d amend that to win at any cost. As long as the university and the local area continue to rake in big bucks almost any transgression will be overlooked and push aside in the next news cycle.

Because even back when I was in college, players could do virtually anything they wanted to and it would get "taken care of". Drunk driving, fighting, stealing, etc all gets handled. Then, they do something that involves that person that just won't make a deal. Then they get arrested and everyone wonders why they did it. The truth is likely that they've probably done lots of stupid things and just go away with it till they didn't.

I don't think you want to throw rocks in a house of glass windows.

Spurrier used to say when arrests go up, wins go up

We had one get shot while I was playing. I remember Coach Jacob Burney asked ?where?s Darrell?? I cannot remember who said it, but the response was ?Coach he got shot in the leg last night.? Burney?s reaction was classic. ?SHOT!?
