You might as well add DeBoer to that list.

Sark may not be at Texas in a month.

Stoops is gone.

Heupel looks to be on his way out the door, or at least seriously entertaining it.

Beamer is iffy. I have heard different things regarding that situation. One person said it's coming but they're working out the buyout stuff. Another said he'll get another year. Said this is just going to be the Beamer experience for them. He'll be on the hot seat and win 9 and then he'll have high expectations and win 4. I think if they thought they could upgrade they'd pull the trigger, but I think they know this cycle is not the time to do that.

If Sark leaves Texas for the NFL and Josh goes to Happy Valley that will be like a zombie plague on top of a nuclear explosion.

If Sark goes to the NFL, we will see just how iron clad of a contract LSU has with Lane. Because anyone who thinks he wouldn't IMMEDIATELY make a play at that job is fooling themselves.

Most of the team who are making coaching changes in this cycle will be doing so again within 3 years. The pool is just not good enough.

Maybe, I sorta agree, but with NIL, money will cover up a lot now.

Need to put some context on both of those. These are the two most meddling booster sets in the conference, every coach that has coached at Auburn in the modern era has been fired, Pat Dye was forced to resign. Florida is a mess, quality coaches go in there fail.

Really Clark?

There is only one type of coach that can succeed at Florida. Extreme type A's that sets the bull gators straight and gets them behind them. Spurrier and Urban were able to. Most will fail spectacularly.

Yea Spurrier was just so non chalant with how he handled them. One Florida booster told me one time that Spurrier was diplomatically cocky. He'd say, "That's a great idea. We're not doing it your way because I'm the football coach and your a lawyer but I appreciate your input. Now let's go play 18." He made them feel important and like they were his friends, even if they probably weren't.

Urban just scared the living shit out of everyone with how intense he was. The same booster told me people tried to pull that stuff at first with Urban and he'd dog cuss them up and down and tell them they were the biggest dumbass on the planet for even suggesting something so stupid. Their boosters figured out to just play nice and shut up because he was winning at such a clip. Urban eventually relented a tad and let some of the really high up boosters into his circle a bit after they had things rolling.

How is Florida any different than any other big time program? Boosters fund the programs and HANDLING BOOSTERS is part of the gig everywhere. If you can't do it then you won't last long. The dogs will come for you the second they smell blood.

Sure, I guess it's more toxic in some places but I never thought of Florida being that kind of place.

Florida is just a different animal in the extreme. It takes someone who is the extreme as well to get them straight and pulling behind a coach. They have only had 2 really successful coaches in their history which they believe is a national blue blood. Just as you stated, the perception is they are a big time program and Bull Gators believe they are on par with Bama. Until Spurrier they were middle of the road SEC team. A little above that some years at best. Sure you have to glad hand at any program but their booster factions are just beyond extra. And Florida has factions within their booster network, big time.
