So, they go 11-1 and have their best season ever but they can't even enjoy the Egg Bowl for 24 hours because their beloved coach leaves them.

And now their reward is a probably a road game somewhere like Tuscaloosa.

But then it gets better because they panic hire their DC who has zero head coaching experience and come out and say that the offensive staff is staying. But then half of the offensive staff leaves anyway including Weis, Jr who they were hoping to keep.

On top of that, I kind of doubt that Joe Judge will end up staying too. No idea where he ends up but we'll see. But let's assume for a moment he can't find a job somewhere and stays.

So, Ole Miss has now lost Kiffin who was their brains behind their offense. And who knows who he takes off their team in the portal? Chambliss? Lacy? We'll see. Even if they stay the play calling is going to take a step back.

And then by promoting Golding it's going to hurt their defense because now you have a guy who is going to be learning how to be a head coach while trying to manage the defense or they'll have to hire another DC.

Oh- and the schedule for them gets harder too. They might be "fine". But not 11-1 fine.

I'm loving every minute of this!!!!!!

Ole Miss has thrived in the last decade plus off explosive offense. That is now gone and I can't wait to see the struggle

Hopefully. I wanna see what they do at OC. They have a lot of money left over that lane turned down. They could hire a big time OC for 3 million a year, and I bet they might. Petrino comes to mind

Yes. They will probably surround Golding with some high end assistants on both sides of the ball.

I don't think they plan on going away. If anything, I think they will spend ever more to try and prove to the world Kiffin made the wrong decision. NIL will probably increase. They are shooting to beat LSU next year. That is their super bowl. Money will be spent

This is going to be a tough sell to their fanbase.

Right now they act like Golding being hired is the best thing ever. They seem pretty delusional lol

They are putting up a false front to save face. No way the masses believe it.
