Dusty May looks to be a good hire for them and their basketball NIL was set up for this to be there year. So far, it appears to be worth what they spent.

Yes and no. Add up all the millions the other teams spent that lose. Lot of millions $ that lose every week too. Nothing has changed with this fact - you gotta get the right players. They are all getting paid.

Bruce Pearl said he offered one of their guys a million and the guy didn?t flinch. I was pretty surprised he said that on the air. It was for Lendeborg. Apparently Michigan paid him 3 million.

But at the end of the day, the teams that spend the most win more often than not. Sure there are outliers and wasted money, but by and large, the heavy spenders win. That's the point.

Not true at all. Check the other thread on top 10 big spenders for bball. UK was only SEC school and they ain't won nothing since NIL. Aub, UT, UF, etc. not near top 10 in basketball but they all have won big from SEC.

I understand the need for MSU fans to make it about money because we don't have big money but yeah it takes some money but you don't have to be top 10 money to win and if you do it don't mean you auto win.

True but it ain't never been bad. Bad thing is most of these overpaid guys in college will be out of money in a few years and looking for work.
