They left undefeated FSU out of the playoff when Jordan Travis got hurt in the last game citing (availability of important players or coaches). If State wins the egg does the committee bump OM out of the playoff?
ETA: G6 is taking one bid. The ACC champ probably gets in so there goes 2 spots. BYU can beat TTech and get the BigXII automatic bid that’s 3 spots taken. So there is realistically only 4 spots left. OSU/IU loser gets in, TTech is in, ND is in, SEC runner up is in. Thats the 4 at large bids. I don’t think they would get in.

Ole miss has had a really easy go at it. Only three of the eight SEC school on schedule are at 6 wins and only one non-conference team is. The last two weeks of regular season and they have only played four teams that has qualified for a bowl game is really weak and if they lose to a 5 win State they will probably dropped hard.

I think they're in it. The Committee will try it's best to get 5 SEC Teams in. That's UGA, TAM. OM, Okie solid no matter what happens next week if only taking 4 and the last slot between Texas and Bama if taking 5..

They are trying to drag this out until after the final rankings are released so they don’t get left out of the playoffs because they don’t have a coach. No way this waits that long.

If Ole Miss loses to State they really need TTech to beat BYU or they could run into a problem. They also need Ohio State to beat Michigan because if Michigan is 10-2 with a win over Ohio State that will skyrocket them.

If OM loses the egg bowl AND kiffin bolts I think they get dropped. Outside of that I think they are in

Yep this is correct answer. We really need both to happen so bad.

If and I say if, OM gets past State in the EB and they get put in the playoffs, then I do not see them getting past Oregon or Ohio State. Currently they're matched up with Miami which they'd win, but then face A&M. They most likely lose that game. If by some chance they get past them, then they will have to beat the winner of Ala/Oregon then W/Indiana game. So they have a hard road to the natty. I firmly believe it'll be against Ohio State and ain't no chance in hell do they win that game

I want to win the Egg. We're not winning the Egg. It doesn't matter who coaches those $hitheads.

Kiffin could tell the team just before they walk out of the locker room Friday morning that it is all on them now and he is heading to the airport before kickoff. They will still boat race our ass from one end of the field to the other.

The committee dropped Bama from 4 to 10 for losing to ranked Oklahoma. They would drop
OM to 12-14 for losing to an unranked team. Assuming nobody ranked 7-10 loses. Alabama might.
If OM loses and BYU beats TxTech, the B12 gets two in and OM is for sure is out. Alabama (even with an Auburn win) will be out also in that scenario if they lose the SECCG.
