I don?t think I could. Every LSU coach in recent history, BK aside, has a NC.

They dont have a shot at a Natty. The Top 4 are all better than them

Staying could also be considered walking away from a natty. LSU would give him a much better shot

I could in a heartbeat. Just like Dak knows he'll never win a Superbowl at Dallas. Show me the money!!!

This is what I thought the poster meant. Yea, not going to LSU is 100% walking away from a natty.

They are underdogs for sure, but gave UGA a heck of a game on the road.

Olemiss had too many close games against not very good teams to think they will go all the way; they have benefited from a comfortable schedule. That is one thing lane has to look at; next year the schedule gets more difficult than he has had recently and no matter how much the shit heads love him and his act, when he is making that kind of money they will eventually expect more.

Another thing, they got very lucky finding the qb. That doesn?t happen often.

True story without a doubt. Those SOBs could shit in a swinging bucket. That does not last.

Damn....he's making 9 mil per year. How much do people need. This going after more and more is really disgusting. In today's world, greed is king.

Agree, as other posters said, they barely won the same games we lost. Really only one good win - OU.

That said the CWS team was luckiest in baseball history and had easiest Omaha ever so who knows.

But for Lane it is leave now or never leave. That will scare him to leave now.

The stars aligned up for Ole Miss. Easy schedule at the right time. This may not happen again for a while at ole miss but it will happen at LSU. What I am saying he will have many other opportunities for a natty if he goes to LSU. More money and better athletes.

I'm not gonna act like I know how the coaching world works cause I don't. But I gotta imagine as you stated.. it's now or never for Lane. As some posters have stated and Idk how true this is but.. Bama won't take him. I'm assuming bridges are still burnt at USC and Tennessee. Whoever he chooses out of LSU, Florida, and OM will burn the bridges with other programs. That could potentially be burnt bridges with USC, Tenn, Bama, LSU, and Florida if he stays.
