I have no idea how to post graphics from Twitter on here so if anyone would like to see the graphic it was posted by College Football Report. 247 composite has a graphic of the 2025 Top 25 football teams based off of roster talent. Mississippi State is ranked 24th. Ole Miss is 21st.

I have no idea what they base this on but it looks the talent gap isn't as big as some might think.

I think it's based on high school rankings only.

I think our issue is and this seems typical for MSU football for some reason is when we have an area that is deficient it is like the worst case scenario ever deficient. That's our offensive line this year.

Our schedule is a big factor too.
