Bowl eligibility and potentially knocking OM out of the playoffs would totally flip things for Lebby and our program. I don't see how we pull it off, but it would get the blood pumping in our program again. Find a way, state.

It would be your 6th win, it would probably help you close on a couple of HS recruits, and it will keep some of your players around instead of going home and getting around Uncle Curtis along them to get in the portal.

Some have already made their mind up on Lebby. One win should not change that. It will, but they will change back the minute we lose another game.

It ain't gonna happen. We need to worry about keeping OM within 30 cause Lane is going to pile it on to impress the playoff committee.

Hope is ththe greatest currency in college football.
Winning that game would give us hope.
As would 1 playing QB and looking good. That's really where all our hope lies at the moment.

It don't matter who is QB. Our line sucks. We just gave up 300 yds rushing to 1 guy. Lacy might set an NCAA record against us. OM already knows the one play that KT runs and will stuff that. It don't matter Shapen will start and get most of the playing time.

Yeahhhhh I no longer believe we can win. Only hope I have is KT starting and obviously Lebby ain't letting that happen

Ole Miss will make the playoffs even if they lose to us unless Michigan wins out and knocks off Ohio state which I guess the more I think about it could happen in Ann Arbor

It would erase every narrative and get the fans onboard with Lebby for the first time ever. It would be a career-changing moment for Lebby.

An Egg Bowl win would prove that Lebby can coach us to a win over a good SEC team. And I think our fans would be excited and travel well to the bowl game.
Even if Kiffin stays at Ole Miss it would show that we are not that far behind them and if he leaves I think we catch up to them quickly.
It would also be the biggest miracle I've ever witnessed.

It would save Lebby's job instead of next year possibly being his last.

I want us to win or I want us to get whipped like Croom was in his last game.

This is what most fans are thinking now. Crooms last game where it was so bad he had to go,

It would be monumental for MSU football and Lebby and that's why it won't happen.

I want us to win, and for it to lead to Lebby getting poached by some shmuck program.

An egg bowl win would be monumental to the program. Its been discussed on the board but with KT taking the reigns next year a ton of potential players, portal or HS, that are on the fence buy in and we could be looking at a heater in the new future. I think regardless this is coming but this accelerated it by a year.

It would be so huge for this program.
Ok I answered the question. Now, there's no chance we beat them. I used to think it was our most winnable game out of the last few, but we've gotten worse. Yesterday proved the players have finally given up regardless of what they say. They looked defeated. I will be in the woods that day for sure.

I agreed to go with my OM cousin and her spouse. My wife doesn't care what happens, but I will be miserable

Even if we win the egg bowl Lebby has shown me enough to know he is not the guy we need leading our program. I hope we win but I don?t see it happening. 5-7 7-17 10-26 he just needs more time lol some of you people are delusional

I'm actually more encouraged now than I was 3 months ago.
Lebby has to speed up the learning curve though. And upgrade the staff.

If he pulls out the egg, I will get a billboard apologizing to him... not really, but I would do a 180 on him

Lebby has not shown me he is willing to do what it takes to win. I respect his loyalty to players and coaches but Hutzler should have been let go after last season, Lebby decided to stick with him and we?re really bad on defense again. Lebby?s in game awareness is horrible too. I hope I have to eat crow but Lebby is a lame duck HC. Showtime? I?ve had to cut games off at half time too many times the last two years. He?s got the 2nd worst winning percentage of any coach we?ve had in the last 100 yrs.

Would be big. With that said we will lose by 30+. Shapen will be sacked 4+ times and our defense will give up 300+ on the ground.

The only way State wins this game is if the entire Ole Miss offense does the Dog Pissing pose before the game and gets ejected for multiple unsportsmanlike conduct!

We need Michigan to beat Ohio State and Vandy to beat Tennessee.

Honestly, Bama losing to OU really screwed us. The bears at 10-2 are getting in over 10-2 OU. Candidly, they will both be in, but it will take a lot for the bears to get knocked out of playoffs even with a loss to us.

I still want to see it, but man last night was tough to watch. I really thought we could win, and instead we got our ass kicked.

Well....just being overly optimistic......Arky was on winning drive....fumble. Ok was on winning drive even after missing wide open receivers all day fumble. It was late but I think Fla was driving for game winner and with fumbled or pass int. Just bringing up om won three games they absolutely shoulda woulda coulda lost.......
After last night......I have no idea what or who this DOG team is.......but it’s about time the ditch has something go south on them.....Go DOGS

Oh man, you're going to be absolutely miserable. I'm so glad it's a morning game on Black Friday. No one outside the state of Mississippi will see the game. My family won't even realize it's being played until I get home from the woods that night and tell them how bad we got beat and hopefully we're firing our coach again.
