It's time to bite the bullet and accept that MSU will not be able to compete with the big boys of the SEC while following how they run their programs. No matter how much we wish MSU cannpt afford a wanna-be head coach who was a coordinator elsewhere. We need a proven head coach from a lower level program who has proven success as a head coach. We have seen since Croom that top coordinators cannot coordinate all sides of a program. Elevate someone who has performed the job at a lower level, not someone who has just run one side of the game.

Both QBs have a lot of learning to do. Unfortunately one of them is a 6th year senior. He makes some good passes and makes some bad, which is fine for a Freshman. Unfortunately he is 24 yrs old. I think he is a really great offensive mind. He is still learning how to be a HC. That will come with time. We improved from 2 to 5 wins. That is a solid improvement. Like I said, he is still learning some things about being a HC and that pisses people off. However, you can see the improvement.

He is not coming back. A big reason he is at UNLV is Bishop Gorman. He is not coming back to Starkville so Cannon can go back to Starkville Academy. Canon being able to go to Bishop Gorman was a big reason he accepted that job.
