My initial sight unseen concern

Who is going to score?

We're going to get an early glimpse to answers for all the questions we have.

We will....next Monday. Almost anything we find out tonight will be bad. We know Hubbard is going to score. We know Ballard is going to block shots. And we know SJJ is going to have an incredible dunk, a hustle play, and then two plays that make you want to spike the remote through the TV.

The only thing of value we find out tonight is how the rotation looks. How many minutes do the freshman get? How deep is the rotation? Which will probably be a tad deeper tonight due to the opponent.

Early GLIMPSE??!!?? :)

Like I said. I highly doubt we see anything of value tonight. I fully expect Hubbard will have 20, Ballard will go for 16 and 8, SJJ will have 8-10, Epps and McGhee will combine for between 15-20, and we'll have some newcomer or freshman light it up, ala Trey Fort, and everyone will think he's going to be the greatest player in State history.

I will watch tonight because it's the opener, but I'll be locked in next Monday.

Jans has told a bunch of people privately that this is his deepest team without a doubt. He thinks we're 10-12 deep. For reference we were last 10-11 deep his first year, and it wasn't because we were so damn talented. It's because we pressed and had to play a bunch of guys. We were 8 deep two years ago and 9 deep last year.

Tonight. Monday. We'll know what we know after ten games or so as usual. Based on what we see. Not on what coaches say.
