The thing is, sign a long term deal. Offer YoutubeTV without espn. Boom and boom. If it?s $100 per month so be it.

Watch the "Wheels" channel on YouTube, it's the essential highlights without the Dr Pepper Ads. Whole games in 12 minutes.

I did the 3 day free trial with Hulu and canceled today. Youtube TV needs to step up and get a deal.

I haven't tried Hulu. How would you compare the two?

The “guide” or channel surfing is not as good with Hulu. With Hulu, you get ESPN+ and Disney+ for free so that is why we switched to it.

I was hoping they would have this shit settled by now. I did the Sling day pass Saturday but since basketball is starting I guess I'm going to switch to Hulu.

I thankfully still have my parent's DirecTV Stream stuff. If YouTubeTV goes another week without ESPN, I'm cancelling and going back to DirecTV again.

Yeah- what he said. If it goes on much longer i may have to go back to Hulu again permanently. They need to reach a deal this week

I have been with AT&T since my roommates and I walked down to downtown Starkville office and got our telephone my junior year at State in 1976. I have been with DirecTV for 15 consecutive years and renegotiate yearly. I always go to their loyalty department and they give me a discount from 30 to 60 dollars a month.
However, AT&T recently sold DirecTV and immediately the bill went up over 10 dollars per month. Their service has always been good at least compared to our CSR usually being a nightmare to speak to a real person in today's do it online world. I'm interested to see if DirecTV service suffers after this sale. I too may be looking for another provider if this happens.

They are all so greedy! and As for ATT they have a monopoly in NEMS(like 85-90%) of users so they have no real competition to make them work hard to get better. The 5G towers are crap I live less than 1/2 mile as crow flies and cant even send a text some days and have to use WIFI call most of the time........

I only watch sports so for me the Disney/Hulu/ Espn premium for $36 a month was a no brainer I wanted to be able to access Sec network plus and i get ESPN Plus and you can add NFL Network with redzone for $10 dollars more. Plus my wife gets all those movie channels.
YTTV CAN KISS MY a $$.

Yep. Kicked them to the curb Saturday morning at 10:50 AM. 17 them. Have Hulu plus Live TV and will have it for at least a year before I even CONSIDER going back.

Is Hula Plus similar to YTTV and how much is it?
Never mind I looked it up. I wonder which is better Hulu Plus or the Fubo Pro? Seems those two may have a few more channels than YTTV.

Haven't tried Fubo. I do like YTTV better than Hulu but they ticked me off this time.

Late Friday night I switched from YTTV over to Hulu. I let my daughter n law do it. They gave me a three month $65.00 dollar deal and I get all the ESPN and SEC. The only thing is, I like the YTTV guide lots better. Ill probably go back if they get things worked out.

YTTV is going to have to figure something out with Disney. The only thing you really need to watch live is sports. Regular shows stream from everywhere and news is all over as well. Not sure how YTTV can make it with a large percentage of sports broadcasts unavailable. Seems something has to give here.

And if YTTV would've just accepted Disney's new deal and raised your rates, again, everyone would be pissed at that too.

The difference is I would be pissed if rates increased, but kept the service. Instead, I had no choice but to cancel.

Man that espn hulu and Disney is the best option.
Disney knows what they are doing.

I think Google made a calculated error because it's right in the middle of football season. I'm sure they were hoping Disney would blink first by missing out on all those subscribers which they are big time. But seeing how there is no penalty to stop or restart your YTTV, it probably backfired. I did read somewhere that Disney is losing $5 million (a day?) by not reaching all of their customers.

Can you or anyone explain to me why Hulu buffers so much? I set my mom-in-law up with it bc Att/Uverse/DirectTV whatever the hell it is now was costing her an arm and leg. She claims she cannot watch any program on any channel with it buffering every 5 to 10 minutes. Her service is brand new.

I’m no tech guy but the first thing I would try is to reboot.

If anyone cares, YTTV sent me an email with a $20 credit because of all this.
To redeem your credit, please go to the ‘Updates’ tab in Membership Settings using your web browser, and follow the prompts. Once complete, this discount will be applied to your next bill for YouTube TV.

Found out Saturday that Sling TV has a one-day $5 pass for all their channels. Seriously thinking about canceling YTTV (been with them since it was PlayStation TV and $35/mo) and just spending $40/month for Sat/Sun tv. We rarely watch reg tv anyway.
