Are we exceeding your pre-season expectations or failing?

Who here actually thought we would beat Tenn, A&M, Texas and Florida pre season? I know it?s been a wild ride and a lot of heart ache, but I can honestly say that we have exceeded my pre-season expectations. I didn?t think we had a shot at any of those first 4 SEC games. And I thought there was an outside shot we would be 5-4 going into the homestretch of the season.

Hard to knock anyone for the season thus far. Questionable calls and some games that were winnable, but this is the SEC and all 4 of those SEC teams we lost to have 3x the talent we do. That is reality.

I said we could win 6 with my range at 5-7 wins so we are right on schedule. Didn't think we'd have should have beat UT, UF and UT.

I think we have talented skill positions and do a great job scheming around our strengths. The big play ability is the ONLY reason we are competitive. Our O line and D line are likely among the worst in the conference, but we still manage to compete. All 4 of those teams will have high draft picks on both lines.. we don’t have any, that have stayed healthy all year.

I predicted 3 wins so obviously much better. Another win and a bowl would be amazing.

By any objective measure, we are far exceeding expectations.

5 wins. Overtime losses to Texas and UT. Near win at the swamp. And Lebby is doing this with probably the worst oline in the conference. And key injuries to our best dlinemen and olinemen. And today Manning got hurt early. Plus the Fluff injury. We have been more than competitive in every game. Incredible turnaround from last years season.

I thought our best shots at SEC wins were FL and ARK but worried that they were both on the road.
I think we can win at least one more but I think the away game is our best chance.
