Week 10 Prediction Thread-Protect the Mashed Potatoes Edition

Well it took til yesterday but I have moved past the Texas game. It sucks but we can't worry about what's behind us anymore. What's in front of us is a very winnable SEC game. Look, this is not the Bobby Petrino of 15 years ago. He is not this dynamic coach with a scary offense. We run a better offense than them and have a better playcaller. I could see this going a couple of ways, and both ways have us winning. I could see it being a shootout where we just outscore them and I could see it being the opposite of the game in Starkville last year where we just blitzkrieg them and it is a blowout. I think it ends somewhere in the middle. This is just not a good Arkansas team outside of Taylen Green, who Auburn gave everyone the playbook on how to beat him, KEEP HIM IN THE POCKET. I also think our RBs will have BIG days. Fluff should be full go and I think he and Booth combine to go over 200 yds.

Everyone says their defense is atrocious. Again I don't see their offense as some juggernaut more than what we have played. That stadium is going to be half full if that.

At some point things click. I'm calling it to click this game. Once these boys learn to put four freaking quarters together I feel sorry for the team they do it against. Would be great for them to do it leading into Georgia. If they do our stadium will be packed and we will have a punchers chance.

Edit: Texas has a top 5 defense and we smoked them for 38 points. It's going to take a cluster for us to not score.

After seeing what Brenan Thompson said after the Texas loss I'm rolling with the Dogs 42-20.

I'm understandably worried about Green getting outside the pocket and rushing for 150+ against us. But if we keep him in the pocket and make him beat us with his arm, I think we roll. And I get Lebby wants his offense to work fast and throw the ball down field but I feel like we can run the ball against their D consistently which will open up the pass game.

Durkin kept showing pressure pre-snap then they would bail out into a cover 2 look. It confused Green and caused him to throw picks or take too long in the pocket.
