Reminder we went to bowl games a few years ago, and won games, but on here were arugments we were boring and did not run enough.
Before we single out players in a loss tonight, this started before tonight, which most are aware. Getting what some asked for now.

LEACH DIED no one asked for him to die. Leach would have #6 at the Leach Beach right now if he saw that bs

you are not reading me right.
I was just rehashing stuff we have all talked about. Frustrating night, and then I get burned about how our decision makers handled afterward.
We did not handle having Leach here like a fanbase should, because we had too many rednecks that wanted us to RTDF and gripe about it. But then how those decision makers took over afterward just irritates me on nights when we lose as we do.

We were stupid after. We decided to stay the course, but then let arnett change it up. Either go with someone new or make arnett try to keep it together. Letting him go left was beyond dumb considering he only got hired to remain status quo

The program collapsed after Leach passed away. Arnett was in way over his head.
Now here we are with last second losses to UF, Texas, and Tennessee. Take a step back and look at the big picture. Very few coaches would have us in this position in year 2 post-Arnett.
Keep supporting the program. I expect 7-5 to 8-4 next year but it depends on the portal.

Look at the schedule next year and tell me how 6-6 is not the ceiling and that?s the concern. 6-6 in year 3 is the ceiling?

No tougher than this year. No tougher than every year. We are a 4 year cycle program. Meaning, 6-6 to 8-4 is the goal 3 out of 4 years. And the hope is that the stars align 1 out of 4 years for a 9-3/10-2 type season. Lebby can get us there. It?s obvious to me. But I understand why so many can?t see it. They can only see the results.

He died, that?s that. Before that those boring win were largely with Moorhead and even a few Mullen recruits. Very few of that staffs own. That tenure hurt the program. The guy was unique and good for a sound bite, but it didn?t help the program get better.

I am starting to think we just did not go stupid after he died, but we showed who we were for many years. In stress or crisis you show who you are by going to your bad habits, or rising away from them.
Hopefully going forward we lean on our better decision makers who do not hire baseball coaches as AD, or sabotage a program.

Yeah, kids gonna line up to play here. In reality, we will have to pay them more next season than this season bc they don't like moral victories as much as you

I got the memo about his death. My comments is how our fanbase acted when he was here...winning! Many griped about it. And then the decision making we had afterward, which closely resembled many great hits from the past.
I like Selmon. I get his effort here.

Any coach we could get will be over their head here. Lebby is no exception. We couldn't steal enough money to have a 7-5 team next year.

We excel at the worst possible decisions at the most critical moment in time. If there were trophies for that we would have a case full. Our current situation is a prime example.

same page.
The NY Giants , though, did out MSU us on that one coaching hire. At least we have that one saving moment.

Right! Only a few coaches would only have 4 wins, with most having at least 5, good wins having 6 or 7.
