You have to learn to win. There is so much a coach can do, there is something that happens with the players between the middle of the third to end of game where they just tone it down a smidge for whatever reason, that is what happens to players who think they have crossed the finish line. And they grab defeat from the ground of victory. These kids do not know how to put the foot into the throat. That is a skill only learned on the pages of experience. It's unfortunate but as long as they don't quit and do see they are right there, they just have to stay focused for a little while longer they will get over that preverbal hump.

I do t disagree. And maybe with teams that have legit deep pockets. But I feel like at state we gotta go through those pains to a greater extent than say Texas.

I agree to an extent but money isn't the reason we lost tonight or last week. This roster has been Good enough to win every game and compete. The money has brought in enough talent to win. It's been coaching and now players may not compete as hard because "here we go again" is upon them.

There's only so much motivation you can give players until they quit. They must see results. I doubt we fire Lebby I also doubt we win another game this year.

Lebby needs a win more than these players. I said last Saturday was a must win this Saturday he's possibly coaching for his job. He can't afford to have these guys quit and start getting demolished like the A&M game.
