Destiny Mcphaul stands out to me right now during the preseason as that player that you want the ball in the hands of (besides S. King ) to go out and make various plays. Also Mcphaul iis that player that will go out and get you baskets, key baskets. Another thing with Mcphaul is confidence. Other players will emerge but for coming into the season Mcphaul's name looms huge..my opinion. All these guards are good. Look for freshman Jaylah Lampley to push the veterans like Prater and Crisp for a bigger role as she continues to get up to speed. Look Awa Fane as the season progresses and she continues to adjust. Howard transfer Saniyah King...floor leader of this group of guards as well as the whole team. I keep hearing the word fast regarding this team, also length in the frontcourt, and that they go hard all of the time....we shall see.
