Still a little uncertainty, but for MS the primary threat looks to be damaging winds. The tornado threat looks to be primarily in AR at this time, but there is a low end chance of one in the northern part of the state. As is the case with most of our severe events, the timing looks to be after dark.
We'll have a couple of chasers out and we'll have our Skycams monitored. See what the ones we have in the NW part of the state pick up. As always, if anybody would like to sponsor or donate to our cameras we'd greatly appreciate it. We've got a few new spots to put cameras now as soon as we get the funding. Costs, on average, around $1,700 to put a camera up and another $600/yr to keep it operational. That turns into real money in a hurry to a small nonprofit.
