Won't be announced 18. And the answer of how many will actually be in there will depend on the fire marhsall. I'll stand by the 13 Clemson super had the most people by a good bit. Could not move.

I would love to break it against a team that isn't Ole Miss.

The band wagon for this team (if they start like I bet they will) will be off the chart.
We may have fans turned away this year.

This may not be a national title team but I don?t remember a team that I thought had this much talent on it and excitement surrounding it going into the season.
Still have to win games and stay healthy and ? but if it were easy, it would not be so satisfying to succeed.
I expect some huge crowds.

Hell, this may be the year I actually go to a baseball game at Dudy Nobel. Baseball was the only sport of which I was any good, until they started throwing those damn curve balls. Legally blind people have trouble picking those up!
I do know a former player or two. Well, their Dads anyway. I may just go with them to a game.

The pictures after the game of someone riding a tall bicycle onto the field was some of the funniest post game celebration pics. I think that was posted on 6pack back in the day.

17,500 if we are as good as we think we will be.

A long time ago two little old ladies used to sneak into the visitors dug out at the Dude and hide tea bags then they would place multiple 4leaf clover in our dugout.

We're way better there than we were last year. If Milewski can't catch we'll just go with Andrew Raymond who is solid. Kirby is also a lot better than Cheese at coaching catchers.

They need to build bleachers. It blows my mind this isn't done. It won't be empty. Huge loss in revenue we could be making up since we're basically giving away tickets to the season ticket holder. They'll make their season payment just by selling one sec weekend.

I’m not saying we’ll do it this season, but I’ll bet that we are the first school to hit 20,000 in attendance for basebal by 2030.

This is the truth. We need to be charging 10x-15x what we are charging for the outfield rigs. Will it price out some people? Yep. But in the day and age of rev share and NIL you need to charge market value for premium seating and that is as premium as it gets. And trust me, those people will still figure out a way to pay it.
As for what the biggest crowd will be, probably around 16,500. The stadium has trouble holding anything over 14,500 and it being an enjoyable experience for people.

10/15 times. Wow. It would price out more than some.

They would figure out a way to pay for it. I mean they are 10X below market price at the moment anyways. It's dirt cheap for a spot, it may have gone up but it was 3,200 for the longest time. It's still ridiculously underpriced for what we could be charging.

I can buy the too cheap. But 30k+. Oh they sell at that price. But it would be 75% corporate and then be a ghost town a bunch of the games.
They are going to 4K next year. And I get it, that's still cheap

As a member of the middle class- I think 10K or under would be a fair price. 5K should be the minimum. Something like $7500 for the ones right behind the fence. $5K for the elevated ones in the back
Those areas- and I have friends that are members of these groups- have been far too cheap for too long

And that's the issue. Baseball is a non-revenue sport and we still aren't close to turning a profit. You don't want to price out fans, but you also don't want to give up what would be a 7 figure revenue difference.

Getting closer. The lofts are paid off. And I'm not against raising the price. But be realistic. And all the seat license are going to be renewed in a few years. Those will go up too. And they should.

You don?t have to squeeze the fans and potentially damage the atmosphere to turn a non revenue sport into a revenue stream. The price should be raised on the outfield rigs but a 10x increase was a ridiculous statement by you.
The goal in baseball should be a net 0 with a championship caliber program.

I mean 10x on 4K is 40K. Most of these rigs have 10-15 people. That's not exactly breaking the bank tbh. Like I said, most of those people would find a way even if it was 100K. They'd have nothing to brag about on social media if they had to give up their spots.

If you stuff them in tight maybe. But most of them are about 8 people. And 40 k is too much. Way too much. And I don't know how you define most. But youre wrong.

And maybe I am. And maybe you do 20K for the ones on the fence and 10-15K for the ones on the second level. My point is that we're giving away hundreds of thousands in potential revenue and have done it for 50 years.

I agree with everything that you are saying. And a lot of fans who keep spouting "baseball doesn't make money" need to understand all of this.
It's like when you buy a house it takes some time to pay it off. Except we're paying off the stadium I think in around what? 10 years or something like that. Whatever it is, it's a relatively short time for the size of the project.
I do agree with raising the prices some- but 10-15x the amount seems excessive to me too. Going up from 4K (I think that's what it is) to maybe 5K I think is reasonable. But from 4K to 40K is quite a jump.

100K you are sniffing glue there my friend! even i would not get one for 100 k. a loft now i am willing to do but you cant even crack the waiting list on that i have tried!
