View Full Version : The Random Asshole Theory - How we are to A&M as LSU is to us

It's well versed how RATs affect us every time we play LSU. Some jackass has the game of his life. Every damn time. Well? That's how Aggy feels about us. Just look at the last 12 years against them.

2013 - Dak had 2 TDs passing and 150 yds rushing; really his coming out party statistically
2014 - Richie Brown 3 INTs
2015 - Malik Dear first career TD and only one of 2 career rushing TDs
2016 - 3-5 MSU had Fitz 4 TDs and 182 on the ground against his #4 ranked children
2017 - Peters only career TD
2018 - Guidry only career 100+ yd game
2019 - Zuber scored two TDs at state, both in this game
2020 - Forbes first career TD
2021 - Polk first career two TD game
2022 - RaRa Thomas only career 100+ yd game
2023 - Chris Parson 3 Career INTs, all in this game
2024 - Davon Booth first State game with 100+ yd from scrimmage

2025 who ya got? My money is on either Fluff 200+ yd game, KT with 2 TDs as we use him as our goal line Tebow, or Jordan Mosley with 2 TDs and 150+ receiving.

Let's have a day.

(SVS - I am shamelessly stealing your work and fleshing it out better for folks to visualize, replaced a couple)

I think it's going to be Shapen. He has the game of his life, 350-400 yards passing and 3-4 tds.

Let's go.

I'm weirdly comfortable regarding this game, which of course means we'll probably get beaten like a drum. Lolz

Imma say Kamario. I think we use him more today. He scores from red zone and also breaks a long run.

Same. But holy **** is this a better feeling the past two weeks than all the last two years and the lead-in to ASU. I'll take this feeling like we can pop off and win any game any week. Just gotta string 9 of those in a season and we make the playoffs. This is all you can ask as a State alumnus.

Our performance against Tennessee, even in a loss, confirmed what we were all hoping but were too scared to put out there: we're a pretty good football team.

It'll still be a fight to get to six (UF & Arky looking most likely), but that doesn't change the fact that we're pretty good and trending in the right direction.

What no one really has said and no one realized about Lebby. He's a RTGDFB coach and I think too many mesh RPOs is what made it possible for Tenn to hang around. We are built to RTDGFB this year. Buncha road graters on the line. I think if we fire off the ball more this week and just call hard runs it can shock some people again.

Traore. He will be getting alot of looks, or should, because of the Tam rush. Hopefully he gets about 7-10 touches/

I think we are going to get smoked this game because 1. Injuries 2. On the road against a really good team coming off a very emotional game and 3. Majority of posters think we are going to do well. When we all think we are going to get our ass kicked is when we play great. I think we lose 42-17.

This offense has actually very few designed runs in it. A good portion of our runs will be off of RPO's.

Yea but Lebby wants his QB to immediately check almost every situation against 6/5 in box to a run. And when you bring 7 in box vs. 11 personnel - 4 seconds of OL blocking means BT or Evans probably has a step OR they backed off enough that the curl is open.

It's simple football and almost our entire positive offensive output last week was done out of forcing the defense to pick their poison in this concept.
