I think arky will surprise some ppl. They are going to have a hell of a pitching staff. Rest looks pretty good.

That's where lineups like ours come into play.

I hope we don't do like last years preseason #1 team

I agree. Arkansas should be better than Bama and UM. I'd also bump UT up a couple of spots.

Yep -- UT and Bama both have potential to surprise this year. And I also suspect that Auburn and Georgia will be marginally better.

I'm not real sure why they have them so low? They have four guys that Baseball America ranked as top 100 draft picks on their team.

I live in arkansas so I hear all of that woo pig BS. They are very high on this years team. Says this pitching staff could be better than last years.

It may be even if it doesn't show up in the stat sheet just because their schedule is a lot tougher than last year- they learned their lesson about RPI the hard way.

Really? Damn, don't they lose their entire rotation?

I can see Arkansas being very good on the mound again with all those good arms in the pen, but it would be tough for them to have better pitching than the crazy staff they had last year. Arkansas should be better offensively though.

I want to see a healthy Woodruff for a season.

The only one I remember them losing is stanek.

According to this roster, Arkansas loses Stanek, Astin, and Fant. http://www.arkansasrazorbacks.com/SportSelect.dbml?SPID=2415&SPSID=30676

They also lose three of their four pitchers who had 20+ appearances out of the bullpen. Arkansas may be replacing those guys with really talented players, but it's very difficult for me to imagine them matching what they did on the mound last year- let alone improving on it.

They are supposed to explain the rankings. I do know they combined final ranking w recruit ranking. We'll see.
