With all the injuries , let?s just make their ass quit.

Our OL seems to like run blocking . Let?s run it a lot with all 3 backs and Kamario.

Like Jackie going. Down to LSU and Sleepy running. Option all game.

This feels like that to me.

With what there D has been doing to QBs the last few weeks Thats a good O game plan. Hey their Offense is about LSU level.

Looking at the stats I think we will actually do OK against them. Part of the problem with running 60 times is besides the fact that it isn't explosive is it becomes extremely predictable. And Albert Reese is out for the game and he is our best o-lineman.

I thought Mosley and Ayden Williams stepped up some when Thompson went out and that was good to see and Traore played better. Thompson probably will be back. Interestingly enough the two teams that have the most sacks per game on our schedule are Tennessee and Texas A&M. We may have very well faced our best pass rush this season this past weekend. And then the second best will be this weekend.

After that, and once Reese comes back plus a bye week to recover I think we could lock in a little bit and perform better in pass protection the second half of the season.

Also, A&M so far has only 1 INT and recovered 1 fumble this year.

So, all of that said, I would suggest we show balance and do some things to slow down the pass rush like screens to the running backs and roll Shapen out some to try to slow down their pressure if I had to design an offensive gameplan based on what the stats are telling me.

I would not be surprised at all if we end up winning this game.

We'll have sixty rushes and lose.

That what I thought down in Baton Rouge

But then we ran the option all night and made their ass quit

TN was giving us a lot of 2 high looks that allowed for us to run it. A lot of our runs were RPO calls per Shapen in the postgame presser. Aggie may not give us that look.

For anyone complaining about being rush heavy against TAM They have a legit pass D. They dam near killed Arnold last week and have been averaging 4 sacks a game. Can you imaging what they will do to Shapen with our banged up Line. Hey Lewis might not be the greatest pass blocker there is but he did a dam good job blocking on those off tackle runs.

Well, if you do not want to move the ball and score points, then by all means be run heavy. We ran the ball effectively against Tennessee for the most part because they stayed in a two high shell to keep us from beating them down the field.

What we need is a receiver or two that can make catches and plays 10-20 yards out. We're among the best in the league in deep passing but middle of the pack on more intermediate play production. We need some receivers to step up like Mosley, Williams, and Magee.
