For the first time in 3 years I woke up this morning mildly perturbed about last nights game. I had hope?and still do. I am invested. It feels good?I hate it. He has turned this team around in a big way even if we only win 4 this year (though I think we grab 6 and go bowling). It feels good to have hope again and feel proud about the performance on the field even when the team came up short.

It?s going to be a rebuild but he is building something in Starkville and I?m invested again.

Our football boosters and fans need to step up and buy in because he can achieve great things if we help out.

I agree 100%! This seems different. Like he's really building something we've never had.

If our D plays like last night, there isn’t a team on our schedule we can’t beat. Shapen has got to get his head out of his ass tho. TN is a damn good team. I thought they would blow us out to be honest. We went blow for blow with them. That may be the best D line we see all year and we pushed them all around running it with Fluffy as Neal called him…

I'm all in! We're very close.

We're averaging 38.6 PPG right now and that's with a passing attack that could use improvement and an o-line that has struggled at times. We're almost halfway through the season.

Defense is encouraging too. 17.6- 14.8 without Tennessee's defensive TD's factored in. We're actually not that great against the pass or run but we're opportunistic and we get the job done. Bend but don't break to a tee. Spy the QB to limit runs and drop back into coverage while blitzing random LB's and safeties to create confusion. Great plan with this group that gives us a chance.

Special teams is solid.

Biggest complaint from me is penalties. Need to address that because we have very little margin for error.

Yeah agree. It does feel good to come and know we can play with anyone. Fans show up, rocking DWS. You can just feel the difference in everything leading up to the game. I'm in.

Yeah. I was so happy. I hate moral victories but truly after the last few years I feel good about a moral victory. I shut the tv off thinking "just one more play" I have such a competitive friction after that loss. We are there right now. Praying we can get guys back and the injuries are to serious. If not we can role into a$m and beat them. They aren't anything special. Heck I don't think anyone this year is anything special.
