Question about Lebby

Can some of you tell me why Lebby don't teach or tell Shapen to drop back three or four steps after the snap to give him way more time to see the open passes. I see the most every other QB dropping back most of the time or even rolling out. I think that will cut out lots of sacks..

If he stepped back any more last night he would have been sacked more than he already was.

Right now he just doesn't have the time to drop back 4-5 steps against good DLs because our tackles are getting whipped routinely.

Priority number 1 in the offseason is getting a better OL, especially at the tackle position. Priority number 2 is getting a better DL that can get a pass rush more often and win some individual matchups.
