Why do we not roll Shapen out of the pocket

It makes not since. When it gets crowded in there, you can tell he can't see and he will never escape pressure. We need to play action/roll out more.

I thought the same but I think it's because he doesn't have the elusiveness required to do it. He gets clobbered too much in the pocket though.

He definately lacks in elusiveness and that may be the issue. I just think it would help our blocking scheme by allowing tight ends to release at times. He may not be accurate on the move. Dak is a great example. I swear he is more accurate on the move than with his feet planted.
