35 minutes before game time and and except for students, east side upper and lower is at least 80% UT.

Pathetic.

Good. They brought enough fans to tote that ass whooping back home.

Why would you not go to this game if you're a season ticket holder? I don't understand that

Have to keep winning. The problem with the history of mediocrity is that locals find other teams to pull for. Nature of the beast. Win and you will see more State fans.

Because most of them are season ticket holders from donors who have passed. They just resell for cash

Just keep winning and it will resolve itself.

Just keep winning and it will resolve itself.

I'm not sure we could ever win that much.

East side does look like a Tennessee home game.

Yeah watching it now that’s sad. I think State should institute a policy that if you have season tickets and sell more than one SEC game to an opposing fan base then your priority is greatly reduced

Let's prison bitch their a$$es and watch the puke orange Trail of Tears all the way back to Knoxville.

Am I wrong that a LOT of those UT filled seats are in faculty ticket sections?
It needs to be a policy that faculty who resell their tickets can sell them to the university for Bulldog fan priority

UT does this everywhere they play. They travel better than anyone

The administration needs to do something about the east side lower bowl selling their tickets to other fans. Like, are those not mostly faculty seats? How about, check the tape, and if they sold to the visiting team, they are not allowed to buy season tickets that are transferable anymore. They should have to present their credentials with the ticket to enter.

A ton of State fans depend on those seats also, especially youngsters and families that don't have a lot of money and can only afford non conference games if they want to sit anywhere other than the corners of the East Upper Deck.

It was noticeable but not that bad once our fans filled in the stadium. It was no worse than an Egg Bowl.

I've never seen that many Ole Miss fans at an Egg Bowl in Starkville.

Exactly who's going to police the tickets? Do you think the University has the resources or will to monitor 20,000 tickets? Not sure if the tickets are non-transferable because that would be the only legal recourse the school has. Besides it wasn't for lack of fan noise that lost the game it was the team and coaches.

Easily some years, they're just not concentrated in one spot the way the UT fans were.

The fans who have the money keep the seats for years they think we will be good or just pick a few games to attend because they have the money to do so. Our fans though don?t invest the same interest in college sports like other fans outside of vandy in the SEC because it conflicts with hunting and outdoor season. We put that first over sports. I?ve accepted this a long time ago but it?s the truth. That?s the reason why we always have a lot of empty seats or have more visiting fans here than other SEC stadiums.

I have been to 39 different on campus FBS stadiums, 25 P4 and 14 G5. So, that's about a quarter of them so far. They've all had empty seats and plenty of opposing fans. Now, not always on the level of yesterday or the Egg Bowl. I used to have 6 season tickets at DWS. I often sold 2-4 of them for the bigger games so I could afford said season tickets and the donations associated. A lot of normal people have to make decisions like that.

I guess the silver lining is that we should go into next year with a 4 game home sellout streak***
