Yeah! It was a huge win and it is a perception win that MSU really needed badly.

Hopefully it spring boards the program forward and we have a really good season.

I think it's going to really help with recruiting going forward. And we have plenty of young players to build around- we could be very special by 2027 if not sooner.

It's definitely good to have some national attention. I've had probably 2 dozen students and fellow faculty up here compliment me on the win, lol. They all raved about the crowd and the environment too.

During the game, my wife (who knows very little about football and the rules) said aren't the fans supposed to stop ringing cowbells when the center is over the ball? I said yeah... They're supposed to, but I do not think that rowdy ass crowd gives a shit. They were lights out from start to finish... By far the most electric environment I have seen in college football, in a long time.

Isn't this an SEC game only rule? Even if that is true, if ASU complains, may lead to all games. I am exempt, as even when our bells were "banned", my battered bell was autographed by then HC JWS to "Bring to ALL Games". Unfortunately has rubbed off all these years later, as I should have had it clear coated. The late, great, sockless, Joe Lee Dunn's autograph was on there also. Great days and memories of that wiining run. Hail State and do it again this year!

It could very well be SEC only, but I know I couldn't hear shit on TV I could only imagine what it was like trying to communicate pre snap in the ASU backfield. Nightmare Fuel.

And the rhetoric has already begun from those spineless, whiney assed pricks in Oxford regarding the bells. They are such useless dregs.

Yeah, my right ear next to my raised hardcore, MSU grad school son, finally stopped ringing late last night and my right arm is still a little sore. I admit that I rang at all times. They did post the "rest the bell, just yell" a couple of times on the video boards, but the majority didn't care. ASU had made fun of our bells in their practice session video that week. Well, now they know. Expecting some "Shug Jordan" type to complain at some level. If we don't follow the set ringing runs going forward, especially in SEC games, we face issues again. It is our tradition, and nationwide, I think we get a pass in this upset, as we had been down so long after the loss of Coach Leach and two very rough years on the field since then. Hail State!

Yes the cowbell is SEC only rule. If we do it in SEC game another fine coming. We do a pretty good job of discipline in SEC games - pretty amazing actually. There was little discipline Saturday - I was there. There is a reason the SEC has the rule. The bell is worth a TD in DWS.

I think I could have screamed as loud as I could and I wouldn't have heard one db of sound. It was unreal. The ASU fans got a treat Saturday that few fans get to witness.

ESPN2 did a great job of capturing the chaos in the stands.. The last game I remember that looked that chaotic was Texas Tech vs Texas when TTech had Crabtree... other than that any other game looked mild in comparison. They actually captured some of our attractive women for once versus shirtless farm boys. All around great exposure for us and we need to top it when Tenn comes to town.

Thank you for bringing this up, I have harped on this for YEARS. I saw no views of the DOGS cheerleaders or cougars or seductive mothers. Compared to another school the networks have a sordid reputation for only showing MSU shirtless fat frat boys....or the least favorable fans and trying to paint MSU as just a cow school which it isn’t to put it mildly. The DOGS tailgate fans cook REAL food, not just cold chicken tenders and COLD ham under fake chandeliers. I’ll get off my soapbox but it has been so BLATANTLY OBVIOUS that the tv camera people WERE INSTRUCTED to show the worst of MSU. The DOG AD needs to talk to TV execs to fix this!!!!......Potential out of state students and parents take note of the good and bad......JMHO...BTW the video of the Video dept did about the week and the game was OUTSTANDING!!!

It is funny that all you hear is how great the Grove is but it actually sucks. Unless they changed something, no generators or grills. Take away the pretentious "chandeliers" and no TV, no hot food, it sucks donkey d!ck
