Alright, since I am on a bit of a heater right now. This is how I see the game going.

We cover the spread. No down game following that one. The coaching staff will make sure they know you come out super fast and punch them. Build a dominating lead and let your brothers get some snaps. You work hard so they get a shot at gaining all too important game snaps.

We actually start the game on defense for the first time in Lebby?s tenure.

We are confident, we'll whip their ass. Should be enjoyable. The Northern Illinois game has Trap written all over it. Get too cocky and look ahead to Tenn, and that team is definitely capable of beating you

Normally I'd agree. But, I think having 2 NIU transfers on the roster that they will help with some motivation that week.

We work on our inside running game. Hey Long TD strikes are great But everybody should remember when he was the OC at OM the defenses got worn down quickly. This is what happened Sat in the 2nd half and we got very lucky their DC got a case of the dumbass on the TD play.

I've seen this question of their DC multiple times, but I don't think so. They had just taken a 3 point lead. There was 1:38 seconds left and we had no time outs. The smart play by both sides was to look to get in field goal range for a kicker who can make it from 50+. We have one. So we started the series exactly how their coordinator expected. The short 10 yard passes to pick up 2 quick first downs out to our 42. We set up to throw another quick pass but the covered it and Shapen has to get back to the LOS. So what are they expecting again? Either a short quick out or a crossing. Two guys on that side, one turns in on a 5 yard route and the safety is looking the other way, their corner on Thompson takes a quick peak at the 5 yard curl and BOOM! Thompson runs right by him! The oline stands their ground and Shapen drops another dime on a wide open receiver! ASU completely in shock that po Ol MSU wasn't trying to get in field goal range to TIE!

Jaws drop open by both fan bases because State fans were also "shocked"!

Yeah he did but I prefer to think a dead Injun reached up and tripped him. They owe us a few.

I get what ya mean but there is no official spread for the alcorn game.

Either way. Lets get up 35-3 type thing and keep pressing with 2nd string offense and work on more defensive plays.

It would be great to see 65-10 type win...with 600 yeards of offense.

Missed out on some tickets to the game last night, but got a couple to take my son to this one. Probably the only game I'll get to do this season so glad it's about as close to a guaranteed win as you can get.
