Biggest win since?
21 A&M Win to get us back in a bowl?

Theres a very good chance 2 weeks we are sitting at 4-0 and either ranked or just outside. Then we just need to get 2 wins against TX A&M,Ark, Mizzo and or UM

A bowl game is a lot more likely after tonight.

How crazy that was our first non conference top 25 win since Jackie cut the nuts off a bull in southfield. I do wonder how many opportunities there have been though. As mentioned on the broadcast not many good p4 teams want to come to Davis Wade.

It's up there for me and it's not because of the long streak we broke or they were #12. The last few years have been pure hell for this school and fan base starting when Leach died. That event was a massive punch to the gut that lingered over this program until tonight. No idea how this season plays out, but tonight was the first time there was any joy from the fan base since that happened. And it was made even more special because we won this game in the most un-MSU way imaginable. We've been on the receiving end of many heart breaking losses, so it was a great feeling to be on the winning side for once. All a little bittersweet because my mom wasn't here to enjoy it. As we sealed the win with the INT all I could think of is I should have been on the phone with her during that last drive. Maybe she was looking down and saw it. I hope so.

I?m not sure where it stacks up but, this program and fan base needed this badly.

For games I have attended it's:
-2014 LSU because it had been so long
-2014 Auburn because we went to #1
- Today's game because we needed it so badly.

Good points. I also know where this ranks depends on how the rest of the season goes. If we win 6 and get to a bowl game its viewed differently than if we only get 4-5 wins.

But you exactly right. Its been toooo long since we have had confidence in a wr and qb to make that connection with under 2 left in the game.

And yes. Thabk goodness for that int so no need to sweat it

This. Otherwise in the top 15 but for the future of the program in the top 5.

It's our biggest win since the 2022 Egg Bowl. That's a fairly underrated Egg Bowl win for us- look at who has beaten Kiffin at home since he took over.

I don't think we'll really know how big this win was until the season is over and we see how the rest of the season goes.

For me it ranked #1 because i only need 2 more wins for my 50K bet. I am one of the few that had us going 5-0 to start the season.

I'm going to rank it up there with one of my all-time favorites, and the last time we beat a top 15 non-con team - the '91 Texas game.

We had been wandering in the woods for a while and Texas, like this game, kinda came outta nowhere but was exactly what the program and fans needed to come together and rally around Jackie. We need to do the same with Lebby and this team.

Exciting but means zilch unless we go bowling. Flush it and continue on

I don?t really know, but I know I haven?t felt that way at the end of a game in a long time. Can?t believe we came back and made that play that was so unMSU like. Gotta love the emotional rollercoaster of college football. I was so dejected after they came out the second half and shoved it down our throat to eventually take the lead. But we made the play that we never seem to make and it was pretty awesome.

It's a typical MSU upset and to me an expected win honestly. If it builds huge momentum and we win 8 games it will mean something. Outside of that it's just a good win that an SEC team at home at night is supposed to do.

13 egg bowl was huge. It and 99 my two favorite egg bowls. 13 was the beginning of the great run and when Dak became Dak.

This was a great win as all have said mostly because of the funk we've been in for several years.

Davis Wade and the fans were work at least 4 pts last night. One of best atmospheres in Bulldog history. You could feel this night coming pregame. Fans and students were in stadium early and ready. ASU didn't know what hit them.

The Dawg felt finally back last night.

All time for me. Because I was there. With my 23 year-old son. On his birthday. And on the field after together with all of us rowdy State fans celebrating like it was 1999.

I'm going to disagree with some in this thread that this win is dependent on how we finish the season. This win is HUGE regardless of what happens!

We all know this season has a ceiling and we aren't where we need to be, but this finally puts wind in the sails of our program and allows us to build on it. Whether it's the recruits in the stands or potential transfers, that atmosphere last night was electric!

Congrats to the players and coaching staff! Thanks for giving us fans a memorable moment!
