Looked like the same old Dan to me.

It's only one game but it looks like UNLV is going to struggle this year.

38 points against a FCS team isn't good either. Barbay got 45 against SELU in game one for us for reference.

It's all transfers in his first game at a mid major. Of course it's going to be rough.

He did however RTGDF. I think if he stays focused they will be pretty good in a year or so.

They were a 9 and 11 win team the past two years. Their fans are already worried and calling for Dan to be fired.

He'll probably win 7-9 this year. But the folks that thought he was going to have them in the playoff year 1 probably need to step back off the ledge a bit. Look I like Dan a lot, but it's going to take him some time to get going there and even he knows that. He told people that this was not a plug and play playoff team. He's taking some chances on guys that are on their second or third stops and just hoping they hit. Dan's bread and butter was development and with the portal, that is gone.
